listen. the greatest sports organization in the world is the florida marlins. when giradi went in there and didn't lose enough? they ran him right on out of town.

(i mean, the tanky marlins build a nice new stadium and nobody comes? some would call that unfortunate. i call it justice.)

Except of course it wasn't the Marlins that paid for the stadium, it was the taxpayers of Dade County.

my top 5 QBs right now/going forward, updated: (ignoring collarbones)

1. Peyton
2. Brees
3. Rodgers
4. Brady
5. RUSSELL WILSON

is that crazy?

I can't place Brady anywhere near top 5 right now, and certainly not going forward. My top 5 currently, discounting injury status, would be:

1) Peyton
2) Rodgers
3) Brees
4) Stafford
5) Luck

Two excellent articles I read about the Incognito - Martin debacle.

man, i thought we might be dumb for suggesting Wilson, Stafford, or Luck might be next in line after the top 4...ESPN's football genius Ron Jaworski has Roethlisberger at 5, which is ok i guess, and then JOE FLACCO at #6. I realize the Ravens are still the champs, but that's crazy.

Cam Newton had a nice stretch for awhile...but this is funny.

unless dan Snyder is leaving Washington with him, you haven't won much of anything, I'm afraid.

pfft. snyder got plenty money, he will find somebody to run the show that can do it right eventually. and ratface and ratface jr. will be somewhere else sucking each others' thumb.

Well, the season is just about over. My picks were pretty solid, with the exceptions of the Falcons and Texans (2-14!). I was also way off on the Redskins and the Panthers.
The Broncos beat the Patriots in the AFC Championship game, so I got that dead on. I was pretty off with Falcons over the 49ers in the NFC, but I at least had the 49ers losing in the championship game, which they did.

I'll call Seattle over Denver in the Super Bowl, but I don't have any realistic expectations that my guess is any more likely than any of 8-10 possible winners, none of whom will be from Dallas.

1. The NFC East would like to have a word with you.
2. Impressive that you got Denver and Seattle!

take a bow, sir. no extra points for the 'not-dallas' prediction, though.
