Not sure what that has to do with the Celtics.

We have two conversations going on. One refers to the Celtics. The other refers to the Sonics. My most recent comment (prior to this one) replied to Benne's comment re: the Sonics.

So was my comment. I didn't read what Benne said carefully enough.

If Bennett wanted to stay in Seattle, he'd keep Allen around, knowing that a core of Durant, Allen, Ridnour/Watson, Wilcox and Collison would get Seattle into the playoffs this year. Instead, the Sonics are trading wins today for wins tomorrow -- which tells me they're definitely ready to leave town.

You may be right. I'll be sad when the Sonics leave town, but I'll enjoy this year while it lasts. Like I said earlier in this thread, Durant's ass will look great in emerald green...

I'm...rooting for Durant to be a huge bust. Nothing personal, it's the Simmons thing. I hope you understand.

Stu Scott: "So who is Rodney Stuckey?"

Stuckey: "Uh, that's me."

Seriously. Stop interviewing athletes...

Meh. Perhaps the Wizards will start an entire lineup of shooting guard/small forward types next year.

I hate making Isiah Thomas look like a master tactician.

You don't have to move Randolph -- Aldridge is a perfect sixth man, learning the ropes while he spells Z-Bo and Oden. I have no problem with Channing Frye; I'm sure he's a likeable young man with a good heart and excellent breath. But Steve Francis? What's his contract look like? I don't even know, is this a one-year salary dump, or do we have to pay this guy for multiple years?

The primary objective in moving Z-Bo was to move his contract (secondary was to make room for Aldridge on the front line). This is a great trade for New York.

Oden &
Aldridge &
Frye &
Roy &
Jack.

OK, I'm still happy.

Maybe it'll be Malik Rose instead. You can always dream.

I thought the primary objective was to keep Randolph the fuck away from Oden.

A valid point. Advantage Tollin.

But Steve Francis? I'm upset about that -- I really am.

O.K., Stevie is apparently a buy-out, so it's Frye for Z-Bo and change. I'm not thrilled, at all, really, but at least this does help the cap and potential future re-signability of O.A.R.

O.A.R., what a shitty band!

I grew up in Virginia in the mid-90's - I don't need to tell you how popular Dave Matthews Band was at my high school. I personally saw them twice.
