I'm finding that I have to root for the Caps in Game 7 simply because I hate the opponent more.

Of course, now, but that doesn't mean I'm going to root for them.

Have to miss Game 7 of Caps-Rangers because I'm in KC for work. But after the 2-1 loss Wednesday, I'm glad I have the opportunity to miss it!

Game 5 Friday night was awesome. I wasn't sure which goal was harder to believe -- Matt Bradley beating Lundquist short-handed or Ovechkin's goal. Probably Bradley. ;)

The Verizon Center was loud. Like, really, really, really loud. They show this video montage to pump up the crowd that ends with Tom Green (from the movie "Road Trip") saying "Unleash the fury!" and you couldn't hear anything at all when it was being played.

Go Pens!

And since the Wings beat my Jackets like a rented mule, they can eat it!

given that i am a nice guy, that scenario would be marginally better than if their plane crashed, yes.

I have no idea what will happen in Anaheim tonight. I am just going to watch the game and hope there is a game 7. Last year SJ beat Calgary in the first round in 7 after losing the first two games at home, I believe.

I don't understand how Talbot getting his ass beat caused his team to score five straight and win. I don't know that the two are related either. I play hockey, but it doesn't mean I understand these things. (That, and there's no hitting in my league, let alone fighting.)

Well here I am rooting for the Ducks again.

This board's time is a minute ahead of the time on my computer, so...you posted in the future. Apparently. I don't know why I noticed that.

(anyway, I'ma watch this instead of the Lakers)

And a powerplay already. This is shaping up to be either a great intense game, or an ugly one.

I am watching this rather than Lakers too.

Oh, the Blackhawks are winning.

....Good?

Are they rigging the game for the Sharks? I can't tell.

3-0 Blackhawks now. That's....a surprising lack of futility.

Watching this with the San Jose commentators is pretty funny. The color dude is pretty pissed at this call.

38? It does seem like he's been around forever, probably because he was such a phenomenon as a rookie.
