yeah, it's missing a question mark too. but it does sound like biggio has the eckstein factor. i saw gritty in there.February 01, 2007 at 10:46PM View BBCode
While it is true that "Raffy" ( thats how you spell his nickname here in Baltimore) is not yet eligible for the hall, he sure has the stats for it. But he won't get in on his first, maybe second try for his "involvment" with steriods. Second, I forgot about Rose. Again, has the stats, but gambled, lied, and costed himself that chance. Then again you forgot to mention that he can't get in until Bud or whoever after him decides to reinstate him. Third, you didn't answer the post, you just decided to point out my mistakes.February 01, 2007 at 10:53PM View BBCode
Everyone in MLB history that has been hit by at least 280 pitches is already in the Hall. Biggio is a shoe in at 282.February 01, 2007 at 10:54PM View BBCode
What response are you looking for?February 01, 2007 at 11:50PM View BBCode
Agreed, Biggio is in regardless of whether he gets to 3,000 or not. This shouldn't even be an argument...February 19, 2007 at 04:22PM View BBCode
The sportswriters that comprise the majority of Hall of Fame voters love Biggio "type" players. For the longest time I thought he might take a year or two to get in (no doubt that he will definitely make it) but I'm now expecting him to receive the nod on his first attempt. Not just for his skill and accumulated numbers but equally in a backhanded slap at all of the "steriod era" sluggers that will be standing in line.February 25, 2007 at 07:44PM View BBCode
Biggio is in. That 3000 hits is a magic number but will he make on his first eligible vote?Pages: 1
