Anyone playing in this League right now?

August 25, 2008 at 04:31PM View BBCode

Good day gamers,

Anyone playing in this league right now?

If no one is here, I'm assuming everything is on automatic.

Let me know if anyone is around. We can start trying to get to the lead of the pack and try and meet each other in the World Series.

Thanks.

Ok...cool...I see both of you guys that replied to this are in the lead this season. I'll try to climb up as best I can and then maybe next season we can at least see what happens. I'm 30 games behind as of now, so I don't see myself advancing far until next season, but I'll do my best.

Thanks for replying.

Are we playing in a single season league? What happens at the end of this season? We start over at 1950 again?

My impression is that we have to pay money to get into the continuous leagues. Is that correct? Do you know how much?

Thank you,
Dave

At the end of the 1950 all teams are deleted. At that point you can either sign up for another free team (which will start from scratch in 1950) or you can move to the pay leagues. The pay leagues have two main advantages. First, the leagues roll forward so you get to develop your teams and move them forward through the decades. Second the ownership is more active and more stable (especially in the private leagues)
