I've got a FF team on NFL.com. 12 team league, I'll be the wildcard team in the playoffs unless something drastically horrible happens this weekend.

It's anybody's guess after that.

Portis has been carrying my team all year, and he was bad last week vs. the Giants and has to play BAL this week.

We play 3 Wr's and I don't have any that are very good, which may end up killing me down the stretch.

My team's been horrible. I won last year so picked at the first turn. Gambled on Larry Johnson as a high risk high reward pick which failed me. Have started the wrong QB almost every game and have gotten nothing from my WR and TEs.

Top seed and top in points scored heading into the playoffs thanks to Aaron Rodgers and Mr. Touchdown Vulture Maurice Jones-Drew.

I think if you looked at who were supposed to be first round picks this year and who performed like one, there'd be a lot of changes from list to another.

One owner in one of my leagues picked Tom Brady third in the first round.

If Tom Brady didn't go in the 1st round of any draft that was held before week 1, that league is full of idiots. Or has really weird scoring, I guess.

I would never take a QB in Round 1. The VORP between Brady and say Philip Rivers or Aaron Rogers who I could get in the 4th or 5th rounds this year and a starting RB and what I can get there in the 4th or 5th round is just silly.

Except how the hell would you have known to pick Rivers or Rodgers and not, say, Vince Young? Brady was considered a sure thing, which you pay a premium for. Trust me, just about every league had him going in the 1st round. Just because you wouldn't be the person to take him doesn't mean someone else wouldn't (in my league, I think he went 6th or 7th)

He went No. 1 overall in my league. That guy was an idiot.

(Of course, I took Steven Jackson over the A-Train. But I'm 11-2, so there's that.)

He went #6 in our league. I picked 8th and I had him all queued up. Ended up with Randy Moss instead. In fact, my first two picks were Moss and Braylon f-ing Edwards. Looking back on my draft, other than a couple of guys, it was pretty awful.

Moss
Edwards
Drew Brees
Michael Turner (obviously, I made my team at these last two picks)
Darren McFadden (I hate you)
Jerricho Cotchery (not worth this high of a pick, but decent)
Fred Taylor (die already)
Nate Burleson? Jesus, I don't even remember this.
Todd Heap
The rotting corpse of Kenny Watson
Rob Bironas. Dumped him at his bye week. Doesn't matter.
Tennessee (yay!)
Kurt Warner (double yay!)
Eddie Royal, dumped before his big week 2 performance.
DeShaun Foster, don't think he made it to week 1 with my team.

My big free agent pickups were Steve Slaton, Lance Moore and Owen Daniels. I ended up finishing 3rd, no playoff bye week.

My keeper league team (allowed to keep five players up to three years each): Addai, Graham, Edwards, Wayne and Welker.
I lucked out with Chris Johnson as my sixth player and Aaron Rodgers at seven, but those first five guys didn't live up to their hype.

I fared much better in my other league with Petrerson, Forte, D. Williams (Mcfadden was a bust) and Warner and Cutler at QB.

In one of the leagues I'm in, I finished 1st in total points but somehow ended up with a 4-9 record. (12 team league - all one division.)

Luckily we have a rule that allows the top 2 in total points to qualify for the playoffs even if their record doesn't get them there - so I'm playing a wild card playoff game this weekend.

I can. The team with Peterson I started off 2-7 and led in points before relling off five wins (and take the division at 7-6.

How much of a drop do you guys think LT will take in next year's draft?

Oh Brady went number one in my league too. I laughed hard.

For the record, I picked Rivers in the 4th round and Rogers in the 5th.

Oh and then I picked up Matt Castle after week 1 because since I drafted last I had the top waiver claim

Cassel. He's not a medieval fortress. Yet.

Michael Turner, eighth round. Cornerstone of my team. My balls, your mouth. Name the date.

I started Matt Cassel (a waiver-wire pickup just two weeks before) against the Jets.

And it's Rodgers, not Rogers (and he's better than that Fav-ray guy).

Haven't we done a league together before, you know perfectly well that I'm not awsome. I'm just saying that you can get a decent QB in the 4th round and you can't get a decent RB in the 4th round without getting lucky (yes WB, lucky that nobody took him in the 3rd or 4th and let you have him in the 8th)

I got Turner in the 4th. I got Slaton off the wire. I mean, there isn't some magical formula here. Pick the best players you can, hope you get lucky with a few.

I took Portis in round 1, and Reggie Bush in round 2. I claimed DeAngelo Williams off of waivers after Carolina's bye week (the other owner was silly to drop him, really).

None of my WR's are any good. I have Marvin Harrison and Chris Chambers, my others have all been waiver pick-ups; Steve Breaston, Antonio Bryant, and Isaac Bruce.

I drafted P. Rivers in the 6th round and D. Garrard in round 11 or so. I'm using Jeff Garcia now as a backup.

There is a good bit of luck involved, but if you play the wire each week, and don't draft too horribly, you should be in it near the end. I've played for the championship for 4 straight years and gone 2-2. This year, I'm not confident at all, but anything can happen.
