14 through 7, anyone think they'll let him go to see if he can hit 20?June 09, 2010 at 02:17AM View BBCode
great idea to have him face the pirates in his 1st start.June 09, 2010 at 02:56AM View BBCode
That was an awesome performance to watch, even if it was against the dogshit Pirates.June 09, 2010 at 01:52PM View BBCode
Watching Strasbourg pitch on TV kind of made me want to jump on the Nats bandwagon but then I would have to listen to Rob Dibble. If you're not local, he's like Tim McCarver in that he never stops yammering away.June 09, 2010 at 06:25PM View BBCode
First time ive seen him live. He truly deserves the hype. Strike two of his first strikeout actually made me completely involuntarily yell out loud in my house. (2nd pitch of [url=http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=GPo6DkV7ejE&feature=related]this video[/url]June 09, 2010 at 06:33PM View BBCode
You do what you have to do. I'll be staying right here, on this side of the fence, the one with all the cockroaches and used heroin needles.June 09, 2010 at 06:42PM View BBCode
let's not overlook the fact that Baltimore's strip clubs are just, i don't know. a kazillion times better than the ones in DC. i mean, christ. it isn't even close.June 09, 2010 at 06:49PM View BBCode

I seriously doubt that the strip clubs in Baltimore can hold a candle to those in Montreal so that's a road best left untraveled .June 09, 2010 at 11:03PM View BBCode
I should punish the orioles by going to all their games and buying lots of food.June 11, 2010 at 12:32AM View BBCode

so game 2 was 8 Ks, 1 ER in 5.1 and he says in post game interview that it was a rough start and he felt uncomfortable on the mound...June 14, 2010 at 07:00PM View BBCode
Let's wait until he pitches against a Major League team .June 14, 2010 at 07:39PM View BBCode
PIT and CLE or not, he's had 22 K's in 12 IP (roughly). That's impressive at any level (except maybe little league U-10).June 14, 2010 at 07:56PM View BBCode
what is really awesome is when the coaches strike everybody out in coach pitch.June 14, 2010 at 08:09PM View BBCode
yeah, the dorky guy with the dorky dad who is coaching is never good.June 14, 2010 at 10:17PM View BBCode
(Or until dad needs his beer break because he's WAY past pitch count.)June 24, 2010 at 07:41PM View BBCode
So Strasburg, 4 games, 25.1 IP, 1.78 ERA, 41Ks, 5 BB for a pretty damn incredible 14.57 K/9 (current top K/9 in the majors is 10.17, Jered Weaver) and 8.20 K/BB (current leader is Cliff Lee with 19.00, 2nd place is Halladay with 6.13).
