I traded him (to Trent Edwards) for Adam Dunn in April in a fantasy league because I thought he wasn't going to do this.

Remember when Cliff Lee and Chone Figgins were going to lead the M's to the promised land ?

(And yes, I said best pitcher since Randy. Cliff Lee doesn't have those frustrating dry spells where he'll try to overpower the batter with fastballs when his braking pitches aren't breaking, because they always do. Felix, on the other hand, does.)

Personally, I'd be fine with either option---trade Lee now for an A-list prospect or two, or pocket the compensation picks and let Jack work his draft magic. Still, I almost feel spoiled watching Lee. He's the perfect combination of fun---insanely talented, throws strikes all the time with no wasted pitches, and works really fast, so the game never gets boring. He's easily the best M's pitcher since Randy.(And yes, I said best pitcher since Randy.
