Personally, I'd be fine with either option---trade Lee now for an A-list prospect or two, or pocket the compensation picks and let Jack work his draft magic. Still, I almost feel spoiled watching Lee. He's the perfect combination of fun---insanely talented, throws strikes all the time with no wasted pitches, and works really fast, so the game never gets boring. He's easily the best M's pitcher since Randy.



(And yes, I said best pitcher since Randy. Cliff Lee doesn't have those frustrating dry spells where he'll try to overpower the batter with fastballs when his braking pitches aren't breaking, because they always do. Felix, on the other hand, does.)

Justin Smoak from texas to seattle in some kinda cliff lee deal. thats what iaml hlearing on sports talk bs radio in seattle. aint gonna happen but we can dream................................................. seattle will implode, blow it, whatever.
