A man can start 7 games, go 4-2 and win the Cy Young Award. See [url=http://simdynasty.com/player.jsp?id=7155312&mode=teams]1965[/url]. This is because ABE uses the dude's total statistics across the two leagues he was in that season, instead of dividing the stats out. If so much work has been put into making the MVP award realistic, shouldn't this also be realistic? Awards should be based only on the stats players accumulate that season in that league.December 15, 2010 at 11:18AM View BBCode
damn. never saw that before.December 15, 2010 at 01:39PM View BBCode
i thought that had already been dealt with. is this an older occurence or did we just deal with position players?December 15, 2010 at 05:04PM View BBCode
I know the MVP scenario was dealt with but since the league in question is only in 1967 and this occurred in 1965 it would appear that the problem still exists with Cy Young.December 15, 2010 at 05:27PM View BBCode
How has this been dealt with in the MVP scenario? Just last season my dude was cruising in the MVP race when the second place team acquired a catcher from the other league on August 10, and he immediately took over the lead in the MVP race, but my guy did catch him and win by 82 votes.December 18, 2010 at 06:09PM View BBCode
