Hello, You are coming up to the time of your renewal. The 2033 season will be your last full season before renewal. If you could please consider whether or not you are returning and let the league commish know. We now have the ability to track renewal intentions on the game side of the website. If you log into your team, and go to Edit Profile, you can update your renewal status there. You can also see the renewal status for anyone in your league by going to the league info page. This feature is enabled about 21 days before a league reaches the renewal deadline. Please update your status accoordingly and/or send a u2u to the league commish letting them know whether your returning, not returning, or if you have already paid (including replacement owners who took over a team mid-term). Even if your undecided, we would like to at least get a response from you stating that so we are aware your thinking about it. Below is the information and a link if your ready to renew now. The renewal cost for this league is $50.00 for the next 8 season term. However, if you renew before Tuesday, October 18th, the cost is only $45.00. There is also a chance you could lose your team to an expansion owner if everyone else is ready to go by then. If there is a question or you need an extention on your payment, please send me a u2u to let me know ASAP. To renew, login to your team and go to the owner tab, and then click on Renewal. This will bring you to a page which will tell you the cost and provide you with a payment link. Once paid your team will be automatically marked as renewed and you can trade picks into the next term. If you have trouble finding it, you can use the following link: http://www.simdynasty.com/renewal.jsp Note: You must be logged into your Tony Gwynn League team on the gameside for this link to work properly. We have recently coded a new renewal process to help automate things. Before, payments and renewal statuses were all searched through and applied manually, which consumed a significant amount of administrative time. We have tested the system out in a several leagues with good success. You can view all the teams which have paid on the league info page. All the paid teams can trade picks beyond the current term. You can now renew at any time in any private/speed league by using the link under the owner-->renewal tab. The Expansion Draft Once a league has a total of 16 paid renewing owners and paid expansion owners, and the OffSeason has run, the schedule for expansion drafts will kick in. Does anybody know?

Is Seattle going be in the expansion or not?

I see that Tampa, Florida, Baltimore are all listed. Don't see Seattle listed as available. But the league Info page shows he's not renewing.

Seattle is listed under available teams now too. Once Baltimore and Seattle get claimed, then the expansion draft will happen 2 days later, and the amateur draft will happen the day after that. So depending on how long it takes for the remaining two teams to get claimed, we could be waiting a while.

I'm not sure I've ever waited this long for a league to fill and I've been in a bunch of leagues

my experience is only a few days. this is the longest i have ever waited. i am in another league that is waiting for 3 owners as well. both frozen at 3/25.

too many teams available and too few owners looking for teams.

maybe we can get creative with an incentive for new owners? i am happy to give up any of my 4th or 5th round draft picks. or even a prospect or 2 (my choice). maybe tyson can offer a SD tee shirt or free dynasty league season?

The last time I remember it went like this with this many teams and this little (seemingly anyway) interest... Tyson ran a 2 of 1. Buy 1 team get one free. I was looking for 1 team (and had joined Nettles already) and when they offered a 2 for 1 I was all over that (and went and joined Dazzy Vance too)... and my decision was made. I then ended up staying in both leagues (and actually paying) for multiple terms casue I have a issues with leaving sometimes. I was even the commish in Dazzy Vance for a while and the only reason I was in there to begin with was that it was a free team.

If he runs a 2 for 1 on this and I get another team casue I bought this one.. I'll come and join Edd Roush to help you guys out over there.

They put a deal out there with a 2 or 1 or something on that line and I'd imagine that a bunch of those leagues would get filled in no time.

I think alot of people would just prefer new leagues too, who wants to join a league in year 2034

i never had a problem joining an old league, but that's just me.

it just depends on the settings, gpd, sub/term, etc . . .

I posted this in a separate thread on our message board too but if things drag on then I'm willing to cover half the cost of the remaining teams to be claimed in our league.

what happens at the end of the next term if all the people for which you pay half decide to leave? will you pay half again?

if i come back will you pay half of mine?
