Nice 3-Way

Good luck trying to figure out the Miami, BR and KC tie-breaker
Miami beat BR 2X
KC beat Miami
BR beat KC
KC - 5-4 in the Conf (Has 1 game left in Conf)
Miami 6-4 in the Conf
BR 5-5 in the Conf
If one team loses its just head to head, but we need to sort out the 3-way tie-breakers

To make matters worse, we have a similar 3-way in the BPFL.
Birmingham and New York are fighting for the Division title. Birmingham, New York and Nashville are fighting for the Wild Card
Birmingham beat NY twice
Nashville beat Birmingham
New York beat Nashville
Now if everything works out the way we were told, if all three win then Birmingham is the Division Champ and NYT takes the Wild Card (Birm has the Division head-to-head over NY. NY has the head-to-head against Nash.) Of course, that assumes that the system calculates the division race before the wild card race.
It will be interesting to see how all this works out!

I think that will work out becuase it involves 2 spots and the division gets settled first. meaning there is only the WC tie-breaker so that should be pretty simple

Well, Baton Rouge took care of your problem by laying a giant egg in the finale. No playoffs for the Scenicruisers, alas.

And my fear is realized in the BPFL. Nashville has been granted the WC incorrectly.
By my take, Birmingham should have the Division based on the better head-to-head against New York.
Then the comparison should have been Nashville vs. New York. New York won the head-to-head and should be given the WC. My bet is that the system eliminated New York because they lost to Birmingham. Then, since NY was eliminated, it gave Nashville the WC.
If Chris sees this in time, please grant NY the Wild Card rather than Nashville. (I got burned by this in the RMFL, I don't want it to happen to Rich.)

On another note my horrible New Orleans team are divisional champs after going 8-8 and get to host a playoff game.

Against my highly marginal Montreal team that doesn't seem to understand the concept of rebuilding. I keep trying to get younger and get better picks, but they seem to win more than they should. Strange team.
I figured since we actually are in the playoffs that I'll start my better QB who spent almost all year inactive so the kids could play. We'll see what happens.
Oh, and yes NY got jobbed on the WC. Clearly the head-to-head win should have been the determining factor. This isn't even a complicated scenario like a true 3-way tie. You have to break the division tie first, then it's a simple tie for the WC. I would hope we could get it fixed at some point.

And the Bontemps Roulez do, in fact, roulez over Montreal in the wildcard game.
Aaron Jackson has the best game of his short career, going 24/32 for 288 yards and three TDs, Gary Sullivan makes a huge 65 yard catch and run for his first TD of the year and all purpose RB/WR Ed Robinson grinds out 68 tough yards on the ground.
The New Orleans defense is opportunistic with an interception by Al Dean to set up their 3rd TD and then a huge strip and fumble recovery on the three yard line by Andy Whisenhunt when it seemed certain that Montreal were going to cut the lead to seven with less than four minutes ion the clock.
Can't wait to get crushed by Philly in the conference final.

I've always enjoyed a nice threesome.
But back to Football, Birmingham should win the division, with Nashville taking the Wild Card.

How do you figure ?
There is no three way, of any sort, here.
First Birmingham and New York tie for the Division crown, which Birmimgham wins based on 2-0 record versus NY.
So after being dispatched from the divisional crown NY are now tied with Nashville at 10-6 for the wildcard. The first tie breaker is head to head which NY wins by virtue of their 30-13 win in week two.
By my reckoning NY got jobbed pure and simple .

My apologies, I was under the impression Nashville beat New York. But since I see now that Nashville lost to New York, New York should have advanced then.
In fact, I do not know how Nashville won the tie-breaker for the Wild Card. Alphabectical Order? I've seen that be a Tie-Breaker in Baseball before.
