ACL injury sidelines Mariano Rivera for the season, and he possibly won't pitch again, if he planned to retire anyway. And New York is saddened at the loss of their closer, but devastated at Rafael Soriano being a potential closer candidate.

There's even talk that Mo might be able to come back by September, according to the surgeon who performed the procedure on his knee.
