Chicago driving to our end zone, fumbles in our end zone and Miami defender falls on it. TD is awarded to Chicago?Carthon fumbles the ball in the end zone.
Jerry Brune recovers the ball for the War Eagles in the end zone.

Carthon is in the endzone when he fumbles, therefore he has broken the plane and the TD counts, the subsequent fumble and recovery by Brune are moot, once Carthon crosses the goal line with the ball it's a Chicago TD.
I know Chris has tried forever to correct the wording but the bottom line is ....... TD Chicago.

OK this has been posted many times and the answer is still the same, it's the right call and bad verbage.Carthon is in the endzone when he fumbles, therefore he has broken the plane and the TD counts, the subsequent fumble and recovery by Brune are moot, once Carthon crosses the goal line with the ball it's a Chicago TD.
