(seriously, this code we're using, whatever it is, and however its purposed, is an absolute
scream. i don't think its possible to get more slap happy fun out of the simulation than what we got going here now.)

(and i think you know, when i say fun, i mean, just slightly more fun than jabbing a sharp stick into your own eye.)

*giggle*
my unofficial atrithmetic says boston has scored 888 runs against Tampa Bay, Seattle and Toronto combined. this is more than double the 351 it scored against Cleveland, KC, Texas and Detroit combined.
(serioulsy, how does a team hit 1117
singles? lolz.)

To be fair Hislip's a pitcher so his $16M is well spent acuz starting pitchers are worth every penny, though you could've had four Lou Schypinski for the price of one Hislop.
As for Wilson well you could get 11 Wilsons for the price of a Hank Miller or Rudy Ryanand still have change left.

Detroit averaged 13.6 runs per game against Tampa, also we have arguably the best pitching stats in the league and my total staff cost $22.59M, or roughly $7.5M less than Hislip and Reynolds combined.

About Schypinski... He lost 20 games almost every year until this year.

I'm very unsure how that affects what he's done this year but keep in mind that when you start every fifth day for a team that averages 117 losses a year you simply aren't going to have a tidy won/loss record.

you know about the only fun i have with this beta league is overbidding on people i know that others want. just a select few, like the SPs.

The fun I have is watching total mediocres like Wilson hit .370, I have no idea why but since he's been in Detroit his line is .344/.417/.544, his four years in Seattle produced .288/.352/.420 and I'm pretty sure the 5 PVR improves he had after 1994 aren't that big a difference.
I guess it's just the magic of slipping on the Devastation jersey that does it, I mean look at Schypinski .

(
i think it comes from piling up numbers against the aforemention seattle, tampa bay and toronto. but that is probably not all of it. the devastation magic is a much better story and that is what we should actually go with.)

Well he is hitting a reasonable .481 against those three teams, but still a solid .281 against the
real teams, so yeah let's go with the motown magic.
I'm really angry at stupid Boston for losing game #160 and therefore not allowing the American League the opportunity of having a 120 win team miss the post season.

It is Boston, even if only a simulated version. What would one expect?

even pitching to the likes of god awful Tampa Bay, Seattle and Toronto, boston's pitchers still could not break the single season strikeout record set by the great JAMES MCSUCKALOT last season. fail. epic.........fail.
