Trailing 16-3 in the second quarter San Francisco roar back and take a 22-19 lead with under two minutes remaining but then allow Tulsa to move the ball 59 yards in five plays before forcing the tying field goal. Then in overtime San Fran pound the ball on the ground and mix in one 23 yard completion to reach Tulsa's 31 yard lone before deciding to attempt a 47 yard field goal rather than gain some more yardage. Thankfully [url=http://footballbeta.simdynasty.com/player.jsp?id=404704]Carl Gilbert[/url] , who is only 61% from outside the 40 in his career, nails it and the Sommelier pick up another ring, their fourth overall and the first with [url=http://footballbeta.simdynasty.com/player.jsp?id=398928]Rocky Douglas[/url] at the helm .
This is a pretty old San Francisco team that barely made the playoffs, winning in week 17 to clinch a wildcard berth. It might be awhile before we get back to the Championship game so we'll just have to enjoy this one while we can.

Man what an ugly game, 47 points but only two TDs and an inexplicable decision, that worked, to try a game winning 47 yard field goal in overtime..........on first down. Yeah, I value my wins in the test league as much or more as I do in the pay league. We may not have full participation here but those that do participate know what they're doing. A win is a win, even if it's ugly. Congrats.

The default settings for this may be a bit kick-happy. There is a setting in overtime to go for a kick on any down to try to end the game and avoid the risk of a turnover. I think it defaults to being within 30 yards and a 70% chance of making it; it should probably default to 25 yards and 90% chance.
