To me, "Plate discipline" is simply how often you swing pitches out of the strike zone, nothing more. Whether it's a result of swinging or making bad pitch reads doesn't matter, IMO.

I could have sworn that I had posted that xguest is not surprised to see this...but now I don't see my post. Although the site indicates that this thread has five posts, I see one post from Roosters, one post from Tim, 23 posts from xguest, and nothing else after that. (I assume there would be two more posts, but those would normally show up on the second page...however, with "only" 5 posts, there is no option to go to page two.) At some point, when do these quirks with the site get fixed?
