When ABE decides to create a [url=http://www.simdynasty.com/player.jsp?mode=player&playername=nobody&id=11506801]26 year old D health catcher who can't hit righties like this guy[/url], I suggest the sim be recoded so his name is [url=http://www.baseball-reference.com/players/n/nishits01.shtml]Tsuyoshi Nishioka[/url], in honor of the most useless Japanese import since the [url=http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Nissan_Sunny#B10_.281966.E2.80.931969.29]Datsun B10[/url].What is the point? What is the bloody point?

also, he would make an excellent 25th man/bullpen catcher/translator for a future actually useful japanese player. so he's a nice money saver that way.

also, there does not have to be a point (other than, in honor of the memory of Dice K Matsusaka, some Japanese imports should suck profoundly). the skills of these players are supposed to reflect skills of (improved out, more or less) players that exist in the league (and I believe position of those players in the league plays into it). and what league doesn't have catchers with whatever health (an attribute which is assigned randomly) that can't hit right handers? you can hardly swing a dead jerry grote without knocking a bunch of them down.[Edited on 5-19-2015 by tm4559]

there are much worse draftees than this guy, i wouldn't mind having him on my bench.
