Two things.

First, do you know if Tyson is going to populate the draft pool before the draft, so we can see it? Or will it just show up when the draft is complete?

Second, concerning R v. L pitchers in the draft. We just started the Dazzy Vance League (just finished 1950 season). In the initial draft there were a lot of decent LH starting pitchers. It's been great so far, because guy's are forced to start LHP, which means the RH hitting half of platoons have value as well. You can't just load up on RH power and expect to win 100 games.

Over time, I'm sure we'll wind up like every other league...LH power hitters and RH control pitchers; but for now it's fun to see something different.

i'll ask tyson about the pool. right now, he's offline, so i don't know if i'll get an answer in time for you. i never heard of it being visible prior to the draft.

but i did notice the difference is prefs between righties and lefties, both for pitching and batting. it will be interesting to see how it plays out. i guess with both settings at 1, the best pitcher, regardless of throwing arm will go first. but the hitters to go first will hit righties better. so it is conceivable that the league could have a few lefty aces initially.
