And it is completely insane that Csonka made your list, that John Riggins is so high, that Emmitt Smith didn't make the cut, and that you have O.J. as an honorable mention.

Did not put anyone that is still active on my list. OJ is not on there because of moral reasons. Csonka because of what he did when with Miami. Mr. Smith will be in top five when he retires. Brown, Payton, Sanders all three deserve number one in my book. I am just a Barry fan. So he will always be first on my list.

I should hope Csonka made it for what he did in Miami, because it couldn't be for the 1300-odd rushing yards he piled up in three mediocre seasons with the Giants.

Csonka was considered an interesting personality in his day, but this is a guy who had just three 1,000-yard seasons, never led the league in rushing, and really had just four seasons as a great runner: 1970-73. Selecting him to an all-time RB list would be nearly as insane as if someone named Tommy John one of the greatest pitchers ever.
Riggins: Only once did he finish in the Top 5 in the NFL in rushing, he made just one Pro Bowl, and his career YPC is 3.9. He piled up yardage because he played a long time and did win a Super Bowl for the 'Skins, but he's not a Top 10 back, either.

I have to agree. I loved watching Running Watters with the Seahawks, but he is not an NFL Hall of Famer. To its credit, the NFL actually tries to be selective with its nominations.

I agree w/ most of the top ten picks with Sayers higher on my list than most others. Brown is #1 and Payton #2.Some other fun picks out of the top ten.
