NBA dead pool

Tasteless perhaps, but that's why I'm posting it because I have a reputation to uphold.

Surprisingly, Alonzo Mourning isn't on the list. What would he get for odds, 30:1?

I'll take $5 on Richardson.

That's a solid bet indeed...

My money is with Turiaf though, I'm already all set to act like I care when the media obsesses over his untimely demise...

I'll put $10 on Currey

Who is this 'Currey' you speak of?

Perhaps your money would be better spent on the waste of talent slug in New York called Eddy Curry....

You have no sense of adventure... Next person that bets on the surer side, I'm putting the farm on Riley just for shits and giggles.

The real dark horse choice would be Memphia coach Hubie Brown, who is a threat to crumble into dust on any given night...

I would have put my money on Iverson but he wasn't on the list.

Thug livin' isn't for the faint of heart...

Would Latrell Sprewell be a candidate? I know he isn't in the NBA right now, so what with not being able to feed his family he may just starve to death, poor chap....

Iverson surprisingly isn't shot by one of his posse, but rather dies on the court when C Webb just rips the ball out of his hands and pulls his arm off with it. Unable to stop the bleeding (much like the Sixers season in a microcosm) AI bleeds out on the floor while Webber turns and dunks over him.

That could be it, or Larry Brown hires an assassin to finish him off once and for all...

I deny you and your thread killing ways!!

I think the Trail Blazers as a whole should count as a choice. 20:1...

Syco, go easy on Jeter. He's farther from death than any of us, therefore his understanding is a bit lacking.

Oh, you're calling TEAMS out now? I put the Lakers in a cross-country flight crash in the Rockies en route to play the Knicks @ 10,000:1. Blame el Nino, who we haven't heard from in a couple years.

It's pretty unlikely that Memphis coach Hubie Brown will die.

I'll take 80:1 odds on LA Laker Kwame Brown if you please, since eventually it will catch up to him that he does not possess a heart. You can't live without a heart, it's science!
