CRAIG MORTON!May 05, 2010 at 02:23PM View BBCode
Still upset about that? No. Everybody knows that the Orange Crush was just happy to be there.May 05, 2010 at 03:49PM View BBCode
they were, on the other hand, absolutely crushed when the Redskins crushed them.May 05, 2010 at 04:57PM View BBCode
Was the Redskins loss worse than the 55-10 federal pound-me-in-the-ash prison raping they took at the hands of the 49ers?May 05, 2010 at 05:29PM View BBCode
whatever the dogass san francisco sixty niners ever did, do, or will do is dead to me.May 05, 2010 at 06:06PM View BBCode
I think the Redskins loss was worse because Denver had a 10-0 lead in that game and then their world collapsed .May 05, 2010 at 06:20PM View BBCode

If you recall the Broncos dominated the 1st quarter with two long drives and Washington couldn't do anything plus Doug Williams left the game with an ankle injury, then whoops 300+ yards and 5 TDs in the 2nd quarter later it was all over.
I mean really they were both brutal so it's a tough call .

He must have given you odds, then? If you were confident enough in the Skins to take them in a 10-0 hole, seems like you'd have taken them before kickoff.May 05, 2010 at 06:54PM View BBCode
i did not get odds tyles, because i was too intoxicated to ask for them. i did not take the bet before the game, because i was too busy feeling up the host's wife. ok?May 05, 2010 at 06:56PM View BBCode
Um, yes? (That sort of explains things but leads to like a billion more questions.)May 05, 2010 at 06:59PM View BBCode
i didn't say it made sense (to not take the bet, and then take it with the team 10 down). i just said it happened, and it did. there were many non-prescribed and/or illegal medications involved. and of course, alcohol, sexual tension, and several kinds of dip.May 05, 2010 at 08:30PM View BBCode
the broncs should retire #7 in honor of that Morton guy, not the dude who lost 3 SB's in embarrassingly sissified fashion.May 05, 2010 at 08:31PM View BBCode

That Damn elway just could never cover in the secondary. Too bad he played before the specialist came in. It would have been nice if the club only had to play him on offense and that his defense wasn't exposed the way it was there.May 05, 2010 at 08:45PM View BBCode
he was a fine quarterback, yes. sucked at the combination cb/fs/ss/cb thing.May 05, 2010 at 08:47PM View BBCode

To be fair, Elway basically got those three teams to the SB practically on his own. Dan Reeves' idea of an offense was establish the run for three quarters and then panic and let Elway chuck the rock and hope he was able to win.
