If you recall the Broncos dominated the 1st quarter with two long drives and Washington couldn't do anything plus Doug Williams left the game with an ankle injury, then whoops 300+ yards and 5 TDs in the 2nd quarter later it was all over.
I mean really they were both brutal so it's a tough call .

it was beautiful. i turned down a $20 bet on the skins before the game . then when it was 10-0, i asked the guy if he still wanted it. and he took it. the bombs started falling immediately after the handshake.

i didn't say it made sense (to not take the bet, and then take it with the team 10 down). i just said it happened, and it did. there were many non-prescribed and/or illegal medications involved. and of course, alcohol, sexual tension, and several kinds of dip.

That Damn elway just could never cover in the secondary. Too bad he played before the specialist came in. It would have been nice if the club only had to play him on offense and that his defense wasn't exposed the way it was there.

To be fair, Elway basically got those three teams to the SB practically on his own. Dan Reeves' idea of an offense was establish the run for three quarters and then panic and let Elway chuck the rock and hope he was able to win.No talent running the ball. No talent on defense at all.
