I don't think that.

I think that he's just harrassing you, which is funny.

I can't stand to think that people vote simply based on their socio/economic status. We really ought to do what's best for the nation, not for ourselves.

(I know, I'm a naive idealist ...)

He's a Hamiltonian Federalist. Me, I'm a Whig, mostly for the facial hair.

Economic status is not correlated with political affiliation in the US. There are lots of rich democrats and poor Republicans.

i always find it odd that anyone can identify themselves with a political movement 200 years dead, but i don't always get american politics.

FG, that's facial hair bit made me laugh ... hehe

Dirt, I'm a Hamiltonian Federalist. I believe in a strong central government with well defined boundaries between branches and between levels of government.

Incidentally, to get closer to on topic ... we have some sports talk show hosts in Phoenix who don't know what OPS is. It drives me crazy to listen to the radio and hear these idiots trying to comment on MLB when they don't even know the importance of OPS. *shakes head

Obviously. You come from a country who's founding fathers are a moose, a loon and a bucketful of maple syrup.

I vote completely based on my socioeconomic status. Because im self centered and have a vacuous brain or something. And I dont cut myself like FG does.

3 years away and that's the best you can do? God, you're the biggest disappointment since New Coke.

Peavy to miss next start, MRI on Monday, one line in particular is a little chilling for the fans o'Jake:

And it's not just one pitch. Peavy notices the issue in his elbow on every throw.

Jon Lester is the best in the MLB... he threw a no-hitter.

When has Peavy done that?

(All you rational people, pay no attention to this.... it's for the psycho only)

Speaking of Peavy ... didn't he just go on the 15-day DL?

Also, congrats to Lester on a great game.

And, isn't Brandon Webb 9-0?

Edinson Volquez is 7-1, with an ERA of 1.33. He turns 25 in July. If he keeps up like this for another 12 years he will be a hall of famer.

Illustrious career, three Cy Youngs, two championships, 314 wins, Hall of Fame. Come on, we all read that script.
