March 06, 2009 at 03:51AM View BBCode
NL East- Mets (I like their chances this year. Just waiting for the late season collaspe)
NL Central- Cubs
NL West- Dodgers (Manny is finally concentrating again)
NL Wild Card- Phils
AL East- Yankees (As much as I hate to say it...)
AL Central- Twins
AL West- Angels
AL Wild Card- Either BoSox or Rays (It can go either way)
NL division series- Mets over Cubs (Or vice-versa if either team chokes, which seems to be a possibility again), Dodgers over Phils
NL Championship- Dodgers over either Mets or Cubs (Depending which team chokes first)
AL division series-Yankees over Twins, Bosox or Rays over Angels
AL Championship- Yankees over Boston (The competitive balance shifts back to normal in the AL Universe)
World Series- Yanks over Dogders (Yet again, but this time no Mantle or Hodges)

Did the Cubs do anything other than dump Wood and DeRosa, and add Bradley? I haven't followed this censored much at all. I certainly don't have any clue about anyone else.

Before anyone gets any silly ideas, Kansas City is not going to be this year's Rays.

they may, however, do a nice impression of the 2006 rays though.

its annoying when people say baby and they pronounce it "bay-bay". its even more annoying when its like... a 12 year old on maury who wants to have a "bay bay" and there is "nothing her mom can do to stop her", and she has sex with like...all the guys in school.

NL wild card- Cinci.
alright well, red sox win the East because they have one of, if not the deepest overall staff in the game.
The central is always kind up for grabs and the Royals have a good young staff and team, I think they will be the biggest surprise this year.
Angels will continue to win the west with their solid pitching staff, Rangers surprise a few with their offense slugging it out as usual.
Wild card goes to the Yankees, Rays will have a good year but will fall off a bit.
NL east.
Mets have picked up the bullpen help they badly needed, K-rod and Putz will put them over the top.
Cubs will win again, gonna be a great regular season team as always.
Dodgers win but giants challenge them as well as arizona, another bad division with teams battling it out all year.
NL wild card, I know I'll get knocked for this just like the Royals pick, but Cinci has a deep roation with Volquez, Cueto and Harang, Arroyo can be a good 4th guy and maybe Homer Bailey will be better this year, they also have very good young hitting.
Playoffs- pretty sure i got the format right.
Mets over Cinci.
Cubs over Dodgers this year.
Boston over Angels again.
Yankees over Royals.
mets over cubs.
Boston over yankees.
Boston over Mets
