It appears that I've come a little late to this party.January 15, 2006 at 02:12AM View BBCode
Ian, one of the differences between dynasty and private leagues is that you're not necessarily locked into one certain time frame. You can always check this forum as openings constantly get posted here. Sometimes there will also be a link on the front page (although at the moment the dynasty teams are trying to get filled first). I don't know of any leagues with current openings but there are leagues looking for owners every month or so so you won't have to wait until next dynasty sign up but can jump right in.January 15, 2006 at 06:05AM View BBCode
You also have a choice between a private league that runs for a 10 month period for a set fee, or a subscription league that you pay for on a month to month basis. they end up costing the same in the long run, however in a subscription league such as the Orlando Cepeda League, there are openings at various times as owners move on to other ventures.January 15, 2006 at 06:20AM View BBCode

No, private leagues do not start over with new players after 10 (now 8 because of the new price change, look for it in "Latest News") months. Just every 8 months, it costs another term's worth of money, but you don't start all the way over. You either take over of the team as is, or you have an expansion draft with all of the newly acquired teams.January 15, 2006 at 09:27AM View BBCode
In both the private leagues and subscription leagues the seasons continue. In most private leagues I have played in the new owner takes the team as is and continues with the same players. This is also true for the Orlando Cepeda League. The new owner takes over a team with the players in tact.Pages: 1
